Below are some, but not all, of the most common questions we are asked at La Terrasse Chez Vous. If you can not find the answer to your question then do not hesitate to contact us by e-mail at email@example.com or fill out a contact form. We are always here to help and we will endeavour to get back to you as soon as possible.
UPDATE 11 Jan 2021: While the ski lifts remain closed, we have decided to temporarily extend our delivery area beyond Meribel Village. We will now be delivering to all areas of Méribel, between and including Altiport, Mottaret, Les Allues & Le Plantin. Deliveries will be made between 9am-midday each day at a non-specified time.
We ask that you be at your specified address to receive your delivery or else we will leave your order outside your front door. Please note that for logistical reasons we are unable to provide meals in Pyrex dishes to any addresses outside of Méribel Village, they will instead be delivered in non-plastic disposable containers. We thank you for your understanding.
We are a meal delivery service providing part-cooked dishes for you to finish off in the comfort of your accommodation. Our dishes are delivered daily anywhere in Meribel Village and are intended for consumption the day of delivery.
Simply pick the day or days of the week that you don’t want to cook, choose from the available dishes for that day, and for how many dishes you require (all our mains serve 2 people)
Once you have added everything to your shopping cart, head to the checkout, fill out your details and make your payment.
After you have completed your order you will immediately receive an email of confirmation that your order has been placed and we will confirm that we are able to deliver to your address within 24 hours with a second email.
Payment will not be taken until you receive the second confirmation email.
Your meals will be delivered to your address between 7.30-8.30am on the day for which they were ordered.
All our main dishes serve 2 people. The minimum order is one main dish. We do not deliver desserts on their own without an order of a main course
You can order as far in advance as you like but no later than midday the day before the day of delivery.
Currently we deliver ONLY to Méribel Village.
If you order from anywhere other than Méribel Village you will receive an email offering the option of collection and to arrange a convenient time. No payment will be taken until you confirm an appointment for collection.
We deliver between 7.30-8.30am.
YOU MUST BE AT THE ADDRESS PROVIDED ON THE DAY OF DELIVERY.
If you are not there to receive your delivery then we will leave your order on your doorstep. The transaction will be considered as complete and no refund will be given.
If you have ordered for multiple days then please note your order will be received on multiple deliveries.
Yes. If you love the look of our service but are staying outside of Méribel Village then we will happily arrange by way of email a convenient time for you to come and collect your food. Just place your order as normal and we will be in contact within 24 hours to arrange an collection.
Our dishes are intended for consumption that day but providing they are correctly stored (0-4°C) then they can be eaten up to 48 hours after delivery.
All of our dishes are made fresh to order and never arrive frozen at your door like other services
We recommend that you do not refreeze our food and please remember we need our glass containers back!
We have done all the hard work so that you don’t have to! Simply follow the easy to read instructions provided with your meal.
An oven, a hob, a saucepan and basic serving utensils are the minimum equipment you will require for most of our dishes. A microwave may be convenient for some dishes but not essential.
We recommend that one portion size is sufficient for two children aged 10 or under.
We also have a kids pasta bake available for delivery every day of the week.
Alternatively you are more than welcome to call our restaurant in Meribel Village and order off our takeaway menu for a collection.
Many of our dishes are served in reusable pyrex dishes which we would love to get back from you along with the foldable box you received your delivery in.
If you are expecting another delivery from us then please exchange them when we make the next delivery.
If you have only ordered for one day or it is your last delivery of the week then please leave on your doorstep and we will come along the next day some time after 7.30am.
For every day of the week we offer a vegetarian dish and some, but not all, of these dishes are vegan and are clearly marked as such on the menu. At this point in time we do not offer a vegan alternative for every day of the week but you are more than welcome to order from our restaurants takeaway menu which has vegan options available for collection.
Unfortunately we cannot tailor our dishes to individual allergies. All the allergens for each dish are listed on the menu page so please be careful if any of your party have allergies when placing your order.

We take every precaution to avoid cross contamination but for severe allergies please be aware that there is always a small risk of this happening in a busy kitchen environment.
In order to keep our menu as simple as possible for our customers we only deliver a set selection of dishes for each day of the week. If you would like to eat it within 48 hours there is no harm sticking it in the fridge and eating it the next day.
Orders can be cancelled with a full refund up to 72 hours before the day of your first delivery. Please email us at email@example.com to cancel your order.
If you have ordered for multiple days we are unable to provide part refunds for selected days.
Don’t stress! Please call us on +33 (0) 7 49 33 91 54. There is more than likely a reasonable explanation or at the very least a good solution to your problem. The best thing is that we are based here in Méribel Village so we are always available to help!
